Pull up a chair and have a chat by the fire, eh?

Also...FIRST!  (Does this still count when I just finished creating this forum?)

Nice forum you got here. Might stay a while.
*winks*
Anyway,I'm a little green on forums, haven't had to use one in ages, and im not an avid redit goer, so I'm sorry if i mess some things up here and there.

We're bringing forums back like record players are in style again.  Maybe I'm way off base here, but I feel like doing it this way will be the best way to stay on topic and really be able to discuss things in detail.

This way is good, i needed to pratice my forum useage anyway. Lol
But discord would have worked just as well imo, however this does make it easier to connect your gaming business side of things to the forum. You could even put up an entire section deticated to questions/help/random posts about your game...s? Just a suggestion. 😃

Carbon

This is a nice surprise. I always enjoyed frequenting forums every day back in the day. Especially small ones that were run by my friends and not these colossal forums I always felt like a shrimp trying to post something in a wide, expansive ocean (like Overclockers, hard forum, neogaf, etc) although I was very frequent on Neoseekers. Can’t believe it’s still around!!

Anyway, I think forums are a great way to invite textual discussion on a timely pace while avoiding the garbage that is Facebook (groups and such).

discord is always great but it is essentially a chat room and should be treated as such. Not saying we shouldn’t have one too, though...

Hey Carbon!  Welcome aboard.  You hit the nail right on the head with my feelings about forums.  I don't care what fancy, shiny new thing releases, nothing will ever replace forums when it comes to structured, focused conversation.
