To go along with our new video, I pose the question:  What is the best first party (ie -- made by Nintendo) Switch game?  I'm interested to hear your reasons!

I have a hard time choosing between the big three: BotW, Oddessy, and Smash Ultimate. Upon reviewing my play hours for each game, BotW has the most hours on my switch. I don't think I've ever played another game for 169 hours other than BotW. And this was a LAUNCH GAME for the switch! Love BotW, ecstatic for the sequel, could go on and on about how great it is but seriously you have to play it yourself to have the best idea of how fun and challenging it really is. ☺🙃😤😧😵

I've been seriously contemplating starting Breath of the Wild over again from scratch.  I beat it just like everyone else, but something keeps trying to drag me back to it.  Such a good game.

Interesting pick!  It's certainly a great game.  I wish you'd been part of that Show-n-Tell!

People do not give Super Mario Maker 2 enough credit as Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, or Smash Ultimate, but I believe it deserves a spot on the list of “elite first party Nintendo games.” Super Mario Maker 2 is not anything technically impressive, but the community and idea of the game should make this a much have for all switch owners.

I love Mario Maker 2 also.  I've always felt the interface wasn't *quite* as good as the Wii U version, but it's still an awesome game that I've spent far too much time on lol.

There are too many good games, but I've definitely spent the most time in BOTW, followed by Odyssey and then Mario Maker 2. I'd probably put them in that order... maybe moving MM2 just behind BOTW.

Wow, more Mario Maker love than I'd expected!  You guys definitely aren't wrong.

That's a hard one , but I'd go with Mario Maker or Breath of the Wild. Mario Maker because who doesn't want to make a level that may or may not make thousands of players cry and Breath of the Wild because of how open it is , and a series I love that turned into a open - world game? Heck yea!

Welcome to the forums, @KhajiitHasWaresIfYouHaveC !

I'll admit -- making painfully difficult Mario Maker levels is extremely entertaining lol.  And once AGAIN...MORE Mario Maker love.  This is soooo shocking to me.  I'm glad that game is getting so much love.
